New York State is a national leader in the fight against sexual harassment in the workplace.
The 2019 Budget includes legislation to further combat sexual harassment in the workplace. Every New York State employer is now required to establish a sexual harassment prevention policy pursuant to Section 201-g of the Labor Law.
We offer separate training for both
non-supervisory and supervisory/managerial staff roles.

This interactive training course includes an explanation of sexual harassment consistent with guidance issued by the Department of Labor in consultation with the Division of Human Rights.
Course covers examples of unlawful sexual harassment, information concerning the federal and state statutory provisions concerning sexual harassment and remedies available to targets of sexual harassment. Details information concerning employees’ rights of redress and all available forums for adjudicating complaints in addition to information addressing conduct by supervisors and additional responsibilities for supervisors.
